Although our investments span various sectors, our mining operations—anchored by a family tradition of nearly 70 years—remain at the heart of our business. We take immense pride in contributing to our country’s economic progress through our dedicated productivity.
In extracting and processing our valuable underground resources, we are deeply committed to preserving the natural integrity of our environment. Guided by our people- and eco-centric philosophy, we steadfastly maintain a “quality product and service” approach that optimally meets our consumers’ needs.

ABOUT KADIR ÖKTEN
Mr. Kadir Ökten, who began his business career at a young age, has spearheaded a diverse range of initiatives beyond the mining sector. Notably, he founded the first Civil Aviation Pilot School under Star Aviation, which has since trained numerous certified civil helicopter pilots.
Another landmark achievement is the establishment of the first ballistic coating factory by Teknoteks, utilizing DuPont’s Kevlar ballistic raw material. This facility not only produces bulletproof tactical vests that meet NATO standards but also manufactures ballistic armored vehicles—including specialized coatings for both combat and civilian vehicles—thereby enhancing national defense capabilities.
Thanks to Mr. Kadir Ökten’s pioneering efforts, both the Turkish National Police and the Turkish Armed Forces have benefited from access to advanced ballistic products. His initiatives have supported the training of technical experts in ballistic protective equipment and provided the nation with invaluable know-how in this field.
Furthermore, through his innovative and visionary approach, Mr. Kadir Ökten has successfully executed numerous projects and created significant employment opportunities throughout Turkey. His groundbreaking achievements have earned widespread recognition across the Republic, positioning Turkey as one of the world’s leading producers of ballistic protective equipment.
