Star Aviation was founded in 1987. Ali İsmet Öztürk, a graduate of the Helicopter Pilot Course, became Turkey's first professional civilian aerobatic pilot. He is also an aerobatic aircraft designer, an airplane and helicopter maintenance technician and an aviation businessman. Between 2004 and 2008, Ali İsmet Öztürk performed more than 559 shows in more than 80 international air shows in 19 different countries. These demonstrations were watched by around 15 million people.
